Was a dark/wet Wednesday evening on the grass visibility got worse every minute but still a good game, everyone having a fair run out with roll on roll off subs & tried a new formation?! Seemed to work TSFC go 2 nil up in space of around 20 minutes (could of been 6), Harry Hotspur creating chances on the counter attack and they got back into the game. They're a very good team, pass the ball around well, got promoted from Shrewsbury Sunday League 4 to now be in League 3 and they look good to make it back to back promotions! 2 each at half time I think, then they caught the back three out early in second half going 3-2 up, but they seemed to wake TSFC up and created a lot of chances playing very good entertaining football, Harry Hotspur just ended up soaking up the pressure and hoping chances would come again on the counter attacks. Back to normal formation and chance after chance for TSFC, then 3 goals in the space of around 15 minutes killed off the game and that was the final score 6-3 to TSFC a good run out and we tried something new, which is what friendly's are all about.
