WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!

TSFC go top thanks to the result today and other results going in our favour! TS made hard work of it going 1 nil down after dominating possession but TS were caught on the counter attack and Peacock finished well. Straight away TS equalised through good pressure from Tim Weston that found him taken down by the Peacock goal keeper, Nick Best took the penalty very well to level the game. That’s how it stayed for half time.

TS got a bit of a talking to as they really hadn't turned up yet, ok players missing players playing out of their best position! But fact was the lads could still play good football and needed to improve.

The talk seemed to take its time to settle in as Peacock started the brighter in the start, Alex Richards and Ben Cheadle though never really looked like they'd concede! Then Simon Fryer got us in front after a mix up in the oppositions defence after a well delivered corner. Michael Rimmer again busting his gut down the left wing got his just deserves finishing well to make it 3-1. TS changed to a 3-5-2 formation wanting more goals for the league and LSPL standings and Phil Jones finished off a corner from Nick Best beautifully. A volley from about 18 yards nesting in the top corner, goal of the season contender!

Great result, well second half, we made hard work of it but a good team performance and we keep our 100% start to the season!
