Technical Services FC 3, Foutain Sports 2 –
After good wins from the Oswestry based sides, all eyes turned to the league leaders Technical Services and they took on Fountain Sports for the second week running. Technical Services started the brighter and went into a 2 nil lead in the first ten minutes! Craig Williams got the first goal, Nick Best converted the second and Nick Best could have had another but the Fountain Sports keeper saved a penalty well towards his right. Matty Ryan then replied for Fountain Sports before half time. Fountain Sports then pushed for the equaliser starting to win the midfield battle, but Kevin Price struck a pass come shot that somehow found its way into the back of the net giving Tech Services breathing space. Matty Ryan then stepped up scoring again just minutes after Kev Price’s goal. That’s how the game finished Fountain Sports can keep their heads up thinking what could have been and Technical Services maintain the eight point advantage at the top.
