Technical Services FC (TSFC) was founded by me and my mates in 2005. I am the office manager for Technical Services (Shropshire) LTD, who supply & install CCTV and Sound Systems. So I asked my company if they would sponsor the football team.
The first season was just about surviving and having a good time! A lot of players had not played for years, so we didn't expect anything in the first year as far as league positions went.
Now, TSFC is renowned for the fun factor of football! I feel that this is how we are starting to attract very good quality players from the local area. Lads that don't need the hassle of being shouted at on a Saturday afternoon!
In TSFC's 2nd season we came 3rd in the subsidiary league and runners up in the John Davies Memorial Cup - not bad for just a 2nd season!
2007/08 Season TSFC had improved but where one point away from promotion, 2 cup finals & 2 Cup runners up medals! The team spirit however was still high as the club continues to progress. With a more professional approach and help off the pitch TSFC will look to secure promotion in the 2008/09 season.
The squad is now in full swing in pre season having already played four pre season friendlies (without loss), new players fitting in very well and now the new management team are starting to work their magic ahead of the new season!
